Science Fiction Models – by Aviel Tuchterman

Modeling SCI-FI kits is essentially similar to that of modeling an F-15.
SCI-FI modelers can be divided to two major sections:

  1. The Admirer: those who simply want to model things they watch on TV, usually accompanied by a large selection of merchandized accessories.
  2. The Technophiles: those who are looking for the items which create the future.

The selection of models is very wide, with a large complementing “garage manufactured” items.
A weal point however, is the availability of visual references.
Avail describes the local activities of ICON, and provides some net links for the general interest.
